In conjunction with the Australian Sheep & Wool Show, we're thrilled to invite you to a Matched Food and Wine Dinner featuring Sanguine Estate Winery, a renowned family-owned winery from Heathcote.

Here's what awaits you:

  • 6:30 PM: Kick off the night with a 45-minute interactive wine tasting masterclass, hosted by wine maker Mark Hunter and complete with delectable canapés.

  • Indulge in a mouthwatering 3-course dinner with canapes, prepared by the talented chefs at Ms Batterhams, expertly paired with Sanguine Estate's award-winning wines. 

  • Gain firsthand insights from guest speakers Cam Smith & Russell Bald from The Festival of Lamb, Australian Sheep & Wool Show - about the importance of local produce and the journey from paddock to plate.

  • Embrace the ambiance filled with lively conversation, informative insights from experts, and of course, flowing wines!

Cured trout, lime mayonnaise, blini - Served with the 2024 Sanguine Estate Chardonnay

Mussel escabeche -Served with the 2024 Sanguine Estate Rosé

Confit duck ‘Waldorf’ Witlof leaf - Served with the 2024 Sanguine Estate Nebbiolo

Smoked lamb rib, mahummara, sumac - Served with the 2024 Sanguine Estate Cabernets

Crispy pork belly, chilli caramel, cumquat pickled slaw - Served with 2024 Sanguine Estate Tempranillo

Braised Lamb, lamb jus, paris mash  - Served with 2022 Sanguine Estate Inception Shiraz

Pavlova, saffron chantilly, served with seasonal fruits
