Rosè rendezvous: A matched food & Rosè wine dinner

In 2024 National Rosé Day falls on Monday the 5th February and to celebrate we felt it essential to put together a series of Rosé inspired events.

Kicking off our Rosé weekend on Friday night is our 5 course matched food and Rosé Rendezvous Dinner.  Chef will prepare 5 courses matched to 5 different Rosé Regions from around the World.  Locations will include France, Spain, New Zealand, Australia & Bendigo/Heathcote.

You will have the opportunity to learn all about the different regions, the grape varieties used and how the climate and soil conditions affect flavour profile whilst devouring a delicious meal from the Ms Batterhams kitchen.

Ticket numbers will be limited so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.

The Menu

To Start - Bruschetta with tomato, pistou, anchovy & Scallop in the shell with gazpacho vinaigrette 

1st Entree - Stuffed piquillo peppers with ratatouille, farrow with salsa verde

2nd Entree - Pavé of ocean trout with sauce vierge

Main Course - Chicken Ballotine with provencale served with a side of sauteed zucchini, pinenuts, preserved lemon, fromage frais, with mint, basil and dill 

Dessert - Meringue, white, chocolate, parfait, rhubarb and strawberries
